Athenahealth practice management system SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Completes required certifications; becomes proficient in clinic systems and procedures, and maintains knowledge in all policies, practices and procedures.

Strong computer skills required. EMR experience preferred

Current CBLS card Preferred Education/Experience

Administers progressive discipline in coordination with the Practice Manager

Acts based on constructive performance evaluations through staff development and keeps Practice Manager apprised of personnel issues

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required

Supervise a team of medical services coordinators & case managers

Two years of Higher education required, bachelor’s degree preferred.

Two years of customer service experience including heavy contact with the public required, 3+ years strongly preferred.

Current CPR and First Aid certification or obtained with 90 days of employment.

At least one year of operations experience in any setting – or other relevant experience

Provides patient education and demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Must have over a year of ambulatory and supervisory experience.

Manages the overall function of the pod he or she is assigned to.

Working knowledge of OB/GYN medical terminology & procedures is required.

Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Must be Certified Medical Assistant with the State of Washington.

2 - 4 years of Medical Assistant experience in 'back-office' direct patient care.

1 - 5 years of direct MA leadership experience.

Previous experience in delivering patient care in home, virtual settings

Technically savvy including experience using iPads for charting.

Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.

Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment.

Extensive fundamental knowledge of logistics and supply principles and supply chain management

Provided supply/operations analysis, supply chain management expertise, and logistics policy advice to management including staff recommendations.

Coordinate daily with requestors, cataloging, purchasing, supply chain management groups.

Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines

Additional knowledge/skills may be required by assignment or contract and will be listed separately

Knowledge of or ability to learn DMLSS (Government ordering system) and International SOS procurement system.
