Mechanical Project Executive Jobs in Florida

Manage multiple capital and maintenance projects, including design, purchasing, contract and construction management, financial, and documentation.

Prepare, review and update mill specifications and review “management of change” proposals.

Manage ongoing facilities infrastructure maintenance programs.

Purchase all project materials and equipment for project completion.

Assist in the attainment of general mill goals by serving on special teams or supplying teams with necessary technical support.

Evaluate specifications to plan procedures, starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.

Review and have complete knowledge of job specifications, contract, warranty, close out documents, startup procedures and documentation.

Principle Project Management / Client Relationship Duties

5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Manage multiple ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finish.

Manage project documentation and ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.

Strong knowledge of ground-up commercial construction processes and procedures.

Responsible for cost control/billings/collections/change management/monthly status reports.

Provide guidance in the development of project planning, including staffing requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility, and equipment needs.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the contracts and ensure the project team is knowledgeable.

Champion job site safety efforts, motivate the team for implementing and complying with safety regulations.

Mentor, train, and coach staff to perform to or exceed Pirtle’s standards.

Interface with internal and external stakeholders of the projects, and key point of contact with Owner and Architect.
