5-10 years of managerial experience in supply chain or logistics. Knowledge of construction materials preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

Proven track record in operations management, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Financial Management: Oversee the facility’s financial operations, ensuring profitability, managing budgets, and driving cost-effective operations.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels, efficient turnover, and minimal wastage.

Reporting: Provide regular updates on operations, financials, and other key metrics to senior management or stakeholders.

Manage departmental support of ISO, OSHA, DOT and TPM by assuring compliance with program requirements and ongoing maintenance.

Manage departmental resources in Warehouse Operations, 8 Associates, to maintain continuity of supply to support manufacturing schedules and customer shipments.

Manage departmental resources of Facilities Maintenance to assure plant assets are maintained and of full value to the company.

Manage departmental resources of MRO to assure a cost effective support structure to our maintenance initiatives.

To provide guidance in inventory stocking level requirements.

Establish departmental goals and objectives to achieve plant and corporate performance objectives and budgets.

Manage a group of approximately 4 hourly employees

Coordinate activities with other managers

Experience with material and production scheduling in a fast pace, high volume manufacturing environment

Demonstrated experience with a relevant ERP system for manufacturing

Working knowledge of Visual Manufacturing

Experience with manufacturing in Diode Pump Solid State Laser Industry

Strong communication and project management skills to influence results and articulate recommendations

Seek out, create, and implement best practices in warehouse management design, space utilization, policies, systems, technology, automation, and processes

Ensures accurate inventory management through effective programs and processes, including cycle counting and inventory movement

Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to positively influence, motivate, and lead global, cross-functional teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to train others in these functions

Thorough knowledge of operations company policies and procedures
