Manufacturing Operations Specialist Jobs

Recommends priorities for continuous improvement and coordinates such activities with management and all employees.

Knowledge and PROVEN SKILLS of KPI's and Six Sigman continuous improvement methods and applications.

Manages the development and implementation of scrap reduction and process improvement projects.

Two to five (3-5) years MANUFACTURING experience as Manufacturing Supervisor or Leader.

Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing certification preferred.

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Prior experience in Process Safety Management (PSM)

Chemical Engineering or similar experience in the Specialty Chemical process Industry

Working knowledge of local, State & Federal regulations which apply to the facility

Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills

Must pass post-offer drug test, background check, physical and other appropriate as required

Coordinate the execution of manufacturing schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity

Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management in the manufacturing industry.

Oversee supply chain management and inventory control, ensuring timely procurement of materials and optimal inventory levels.

Oversee and manage all manufacturing operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Lead and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, tracking, and controlling manufacturing costs.

Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.

Operational, entrepreneurial business experience required - minimum 5 years

Strong written & verbal communication skills - with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization

Evidence of progression in business or operational knowledge gained & applied

Experience SAP APO highly preferred

Consumer packaged goods and DSD experience valued

Supply Chain advanced level analytics/reporting experience valued

3 years of supervisor or project management experience.

Project management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Demonstrate high-level knowledge and hands on experience in the areas of microbiology, fermentation, aseptic processing, and protein purification techniques.
