We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Operations Director to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, production planning, Six Sigma, budgeting, team leadership, process improvement, lean manufacturing, business process improvement, quality control, supply chain management, inventory management, engineering management, ERP, and manufacturing. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee the production planning process, ensuring optimal use of resources and meeting customer demand.
  • Oversee supply chain management and inventory control, ensuring timely procurement of materials and optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure quality control measures are in place and adhered to, maintaining the high standards of our products.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance production quality and reduce costs.
  • Drive business process improvements, identifying opportunities for innovation and advancement.
  • Utilize ERP systems to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and manage all manufacturing operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, tracking, and controlling manufacturing costs.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.


Qualifications


  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in production planning, Six Sigma, budgeting, team leadership, process improvement, lean manufacturing, business process improvement, quality control, supply chain management, inventory management, engineering management, ERP, and manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and other relevant software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and increase operational efficiency.
