Higher Education and/or State and Local Government industry experience

Leadership abilities to motivate and focus the Higher Education & Government Industry organization on strategic customer objectives.

Contributes to the strategic direction of the Customer Experience organization through leading and participating on internal initiatives.

15+ years of experience successfully growing and managing a customer experience, IT services, or professional services organizations.

Demonstrated experience in delivering large enterprise full-suite projects (including HCM, Payroll, Financials, Planning and Budgeting).

Familiarity with SaaS governance modeling, and agile methodologies to help Higher Education & Government organizations navigate the cloud environment.

You have excellent written and oral communication skills.

You have a strong mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

You have a deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.

You play well in the sandbox. You understand relationships are key and have strong interpersonal skills.

You have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or comparable business degree, MBA/MSA, and a CPA preferred.

8+ years of experience as a lawyer in a large law firm and/or in-house corporation setting within a larger enterprise organization.

5+ years of contract drafting and negotiating experience.

Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations including:

Self-starter and experience working independently.

PBM / Healthcare industry knowledge

Identifying business and legal risks while providing solutions to balance legal issues and business objectives.

Creative deal-making experience, win-win and problem-solving mindset, service orientation; value-added mentality and approach to relationships

Strong strategic thinker - experience and aptitude to provide board of director level value-added support to portfolio companies

Manage due diligence, including and as applicable: market, financial, environmental, legal, product, IP, facilities and equipment, brand, and other due diligence

Manage exit, sale, recap, or other liquidity events

Business model assessment – ability to understand and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses related to various business, operating, and revenue models

Negotiate asset and stock purchase agreements and related legal documents

5+ years? of successful agency management or senior level leadership experience; required; insurance industry preferred

Works effectively in a matrix management environment, able to help drive business results within departments he/she does not directly manager

Relevant direct experience in a sales and client retention driven business

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with professionalism and discretion

Proven experience attracting, developing and retaining an ?A? player workforce and creating a positive atmosphere conducive to productivity

Must have an in-depth knowledge of the insurance business
