Managing Consultant Jobs

As a Managing Consultant you will play a key role in the Accounting & Finance teams in mid-size and start-up biotechnology and life sciences companies. Responsibilities include: completing month/quarter/year-end closes in an accurate and timely manner, preparing financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies, assessing and documenting technical accounting issues, managing external auditor’s requests, contract review and negotiation, various system implementations and continuously supporting client needs.In this role, you have control over your schedule, the hours you work and the assignments you take on.

Who You Are

You have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or comparable business degree, MBA/MSA, and a CPA preferred.

You have 10+ years’ prior Accounting or Finance experience, with a mix of private and public accounting experience, biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry a plus.

You have excellent written and oral communication skills.

You are detail oriented, well organized, proactive, and self-motivating.

You have a strong mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

You have a deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.

You play well in the sandbox. You understand relationships are key and have strong interpersonal skills.

You can thrive in a smaller company environment and love the pace of a true startup.

You’re a team player who is willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
