Reduce cost by evaluating, negotiating and coordinating with vendors and suppliers and present to the manager for approval or apply problem

3+ years of demonstrated experience in a Purchasing Department in a manufacturing environment

Experience with Procurement MRP/ERP systems, Business Central a plus

Enter and maintain accurate order records, and be able to follow through if there is a need for replacement

Establish guidelines for approving purchase orders, set purchasing policies, manage inventory and budget for materials

Maintaining knowledge of the market, in addition to current prices and fair rates for goods

Extensive knowledge in procurement as it relates to large-scale steel construction projects or metal fabrication processes

Demonstrated knowledge in setting up costing templates and budgets within a range of software types

Advanced knowledge in corporate ERP

Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct others according to company standards

Proven leadership and management experience

Manage Strategic Sourcing Processes for Categories including HR, Corporate Service, and IT/ Software

Establish and manage key supplier relations and supplier negotiations

Effectively lead and manage a team

5+ years Indirect Procurement experience

Corporate Services Sourcing Experience Required

Skilled planner with strong time management and prioritization skills

Maintain relationships with suppliers while partnering with the Sourcing COE to stay aligned on strategic initiatives and cost management

Communicate with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production

Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages

Performing inventory management in partnership with other stakeholders and control inputs to align with the inventory plan

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Purchasing Management or a related degree of study
