Manager Of Land Acquisition Jobs in California

Co-manage rollout meetings and related process changes with other Land department employees and/or engineers

Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Finance/Economics), Engineering, Real Estate, Planning, Government Relations or related field is required

Minimum four (4) years proven land experience in acquisition, contract negotiation and relationship building

Demonstrated leadership capabilities including motivating teams, employee development, and being results oriented

Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. JD Edwards database experience a plus!

Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is $115 - 130,000 per year depending on experience, paid semi-monthly.

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team, drive results, and make strategic decisions.

Exceptional negotiation and deal structuring abilities, with a focus on maximizing value and mitigating risks.

Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills, including proficiency in evaluating real estate investments, performing market research, and assessing financial feasibility.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Knowledge of industry software and tools, such as GIS mapping, financial modeling software, and CRM systems, is preferred.

Minimum requirements - office experience, college internship, data analytics research.

Identify new land opportunities by reading City Council/Planning Commission Agendas and municipalities GIS for zoning requirements.

Preferred - 1-2 years of residential land acquisition experience.

Knowledge of GIS (Geospatial Information Systems) and or "Land-related" databases

Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple deadlines and create functional systems for handling data

Must be proficient in Microsoft Programs, with advanced excel skills required.
