A strong analytical attitude and skills, including the ability to break down complex scenarios into constituent parameters

Experience with large data sets, proficient in SQL or other programming languages (R, Python)

Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business, finance, statistics, engineering or related quantitative discipline.

3+ years experience leading teams and experience coaching and developing analysts at all levels.

Proven approach for building and establishing a can do team culture.

Fluency in leveraging a data first approach to establish credibility and influence working with cross-functional leadership.

Exploring and harnessing data to define and solve true problems;

Removing barriers between data sets to create new avenues of insight;

Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, NoSQL, etc., and Cloud technologies (Google Cloud, SQL Server, Azure, etc.)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Data visualization and dashboard development experience, with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar applications.

This individual will perform data wrangling, ETL, and data exploration tasks, while leveraging large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

He/she should be a natural thought leader, thinking outside of the box, and challenging the status quo.

Leverage analytics and visualization tools to design and present information to drive fact-based decision making

Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree business analytics, operations, computer science, marketing, finance, business administration, economics, or related degree required

Masters in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, Information Science or related field experience required

Apply advanced analytics to evaluate live investment opportunities, working collaboratively with the portfolio company management teams to enhance business value

7-10 years of experience in a data science role

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Prior experience in financial services or consulting, particularly private equity, is strongly preferred

Source, incorporate, and analyze alternative datasets to support investment processes and drive innovation in our private equity business

Ensure a strong commitment to quantitative methods, algorithmic fairness, and data privacy across all aspects of the data analysis process

Manager/Lead Data Science experience would be key

A vast experience of products (digital/technical etc.)

Experience setting up Data teams would be beneficial for this role, but not crucial

Must have experience of hiring mass contractors within data/analytics teams.

Previous history working within a retailer would be great.

Previous experience with Streamlit is a huge plus.

10+ years experience as a Data Scientist or similar position

5+ years of experience in building, managing, and leading a high-performing data science team

Experience in using data science to optimize the user experience.

Mentor team members in areas of data engineering, analytics, statistics, and machine learning.

Masters Degree in Math/Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Science or related quantitative field

1+ years of experience as a people-manager

You will collaborate with user research on mixed-methods insights and recommendations.

Build project roadmaps to provide strategic direction aligned with product teams goals

You value cross-disciplinary work and understand how to integrate qualitative research with your quantitative analysis

Strong communications skills and leadership experience with a team preferred

3+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis in a financial setting with an understanding of relative value and market dynamics

Hands on experience utilizing Python, SQL and other programming tools

Work closely with engineering and data science teams to procure, analyze and validate data sources

Owning analytics, science, and optimization for our media campaigns

Serving as the primary client point of contact on campaign optimization and data

Five (5) years of relevant industry and management experience

Knowledge of budget processes and ability to manage and track large project budgets

Four (4) years of relevant experience in a Data role working with Data Science, Machine Learning and Business Intelligence tools

Knowledge of standard Data Science and Machine Learning technology stack

Excellent problem solving and structured thinking skills

Proven experience with a Data Warehouse, Data Science and/or Business Intelligence platform

10+ overall years of experience in a Data Science or quantitative role, with 3+ years of experience with people management

Experience in code version management solutions like git or SVN

Proven ability to craft and execute change management plans, driving new processes and analytics that influence business decisions and outcomes

Knowledge or experience in the order to cash sales or revenue processes

Partner closely with Finance, BU, Sales and IT to understand all revenue systems and processes

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics) or equivalent experience

6+ years of experience as a data scientist, algorithmic engineering, or machine learning

3+ years of experience in managing and mentoring data science, data engineering, and analytics teams in a technology company

Experience with related technical areas:

Experience with large data sets and analytical tools, e.g. Hive, Spark

Demonstrated skills in selecting the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with hypothesis driven product development.

Manages issues proactively, including timely resolution and the identification of remediation opportunities.

May develop budget for functional area. Manages budget to plan. May be accountable for area budget and delivering against business goals/objectives.

Deep knowledge of open source data science and statistics packages such as Python, R, Spark, etc.

At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.

Experience interacting at the executive level

Develops software programs, algorithms, dashboards, information tools, and queries to clean, model, integrate and evaluate datasets.
