Corporate M&A experience, ideally working with PE-backed companies, exhibiting a track record of executing on deals at volume
International experience of M&A or expansion of a business unit into a new country (preferably buy and build)
Good listener with strong communication skills, applied internally and externally to information gathering, influencing and negotiating
Conducting market segmentation, competitive research (ensuring a diligent understanding of market trends), understanding competitive threats and customer buying needs and journeys
Work closely with the CEO and MD US in identifying key strategic opportunities in adjacent markets

Preparing reports on the basis of analysis and communicating the insights of these reports to senior management
Consulting with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans refining base case assumptions
8-10 years of experience in a similar capacity; preferably in the energy industry
A Bachelor of Science degree in finance, economics, accounting or mathematics
Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
Strong research, attention to detail, financial modelling, and technical skills
