Certification with diabetes mellitus management

Clinical pharmacy practice setting experience; or specialized residency and/or board certification in Pharmacotherapy or other specialized field

3+ years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience

Requires some accountability for scheduling, assigning or coordinating work.

BS degree in Pharmacy (required)

Registered Pharmacist in Iowa or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire (new or out of state)

Strong organization and time management skills

Experience in managing employees in a remote environment a plus

Provide guidance and coaching on day-to-day technician responsibilities

Work with other team leaders to improve the member experience and coordination between other teams

3+ years of healthcare people leadership experience required

Experience caring for Medicare patients and a strong desire to continue to work closely with aging patient populations

Full time remote work from home with active pharmacy technician license/registration and national pharmacy technician certification.

Communicates selected prior authorization criteria, pharmacy benefit coverage and formulary alternatives to physicians, physician`s office staff, medical management staff and/or pharmacists.

Determines appropriateness for medications. Communicates decision to physicians, physician`s office staff, medical management staff and/or pharmacists.

For CPTs assigned to work the fax queue, responsibilities will also include:

Must have an active pharmacy technician licensure or registration in accordance with state requirements.

In states that do not require licensure or registration, must have an active national certification (e.g., PTCB or ExCPT).

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Other, Certified Pharmacy Technician certification, preferred

Perform outbound “Needs Refill” (or similar) TIP calls or CMR preparation under supervision of pharmacist.

Assist with customer outreach calls (vaccine reminders, messaging and predictive refill programs) under supervision of pharmacist

Assist with administrative tasks (call counts, chat counts, MTM billing reports).

Screen chats from website and mobile app, and transfer to a pharmacist for clinical issues

1+yrs. of retail pharmacy experience

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Active state pharmacy tech license in AZ, OH, FL or TX

High School diploma or GED

Experience in complex project management and problem navigation and driving change across an organization

Solid project management experience and expertise

Actively supports PCS and PBM sales and marketing efforts by highlighting the value of our PCS clinical capabilities and offerings

5+ years of clinical pharmacy product/service development and/or management

Collaborates in the development of unique clinical offerings that improve quality, patient outcomes and reduce costs

Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related clinical or business field or equivalent experience

APICS CSCP or CPM certification preferred

Experience in a GMP manufacturing facility a plus

Executes supply and inventory plans and tracks production schedules for clinical trial materials.

Monitors schedule adherence of production schedules and makes course corrections if needed.

Maintains an accurate, effective, and efficient clinical material tracking for all active clinical trials assigned

Coordinates and tracks bulk shipments to CMOs, depots, and vendors. Maintains and tracks import licenses renewals.

Board certification and specialty residency training preferred

Licensed as a registered pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required. Your Job Responsibilities :

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy

Can perform the duties of a staff pharmacist, clinical pharmacist, and/or clinical pharmacy specialist when necessary.

Responsible for oversight of clinical pharmacists. Provides feedback and guidance throughout the year. Performs disciplinary actions as needed.

Serves as a member of the pharmacy leadership team. Evaluate and/or provides input for the performance evaluation of pharmacy staff.
