Maintenance Electro Mechanical Technician Jobs in Georgia

Participate in the plant's preventive maintenance program by performing routine maintenance duties, including the collection of information for the Maintenance Manager

Complete other tasks as requested by the Maintenance Manager

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Participate in the administrative maintenance of the plant operating manuals, technical references, prints and diagrams and preventive/predictive maintenance records

Set up and operate machine shop tools in the performance of all machine work to close tolerances

High School diploma or equivalent required. Typically, an Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.

Knowledge of automated equipment; preferably automated material handling systems. Experience with Allen-Bradley RSLogix5000 PLC controls platforms.

Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs required.

Strong Electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills

Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, ac power, ac motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels.

Mechanical experience with gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, and other related equipment.

Work independently under limited supervision (self-management)

Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs).

Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas

Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays)

Experience with electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting)

Experience with schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, relays).
