A strong understanding and general skills around motion graphics and social video.

Understanding of user experience and responsive design trends.

Translate complex conceptual and strategic ideas into graphic design solutions

Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere) as well as all social media platforms and Google products

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, front-end design styling and ability to use a basic CMS.

Exciting, clearly articulated creative taste and strong visual sensibility

Experience: 6 months of comparable Retail Management experience; experience with jewelry, piercing, or hospitality is a plus

Acts with a clear sense of ownership over the Studio's experience and presentation responsibilities

Reviews business reporting with the Studio Manager and Assistant Studio Manager to understand and effectively communicate opportunities in key business metrics

Serves as a brand ambassador: welcomes and educates clients to the unique Studs' piercing and shopping experience through our selling cycle

Monitors, tracks, and communicates trends in their division area to the Studio Manager and collaborates on solutions

Balances analysis, experience, and integrity when making decisions for the overall business

A least 1 year’s experience designing magazine and/or other visual media

Ability to study design briefs and determine requirements

Adequate computer hardware and software to work online

Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus

Have Adobe InDesign and Photoshop software and be an expert user of both!

Ability to follow a brand style guide and templates to ensure synergy across our products

Experience using effective professional writing/editing techniques for a variety of media including comprehensive knowledge of technical language, usage, and style conventions.

Advanced knowledge of and experience using style conventions, professional principles, and technical communication practices and standards.

Experience collaborating with senior managers, clients, team members, peers, and stakeholders to meet organizational/ programmatic objectives.

Experience in publishing, and familiarity with cadences and opportunities within magazine strategies.

Significant writing and editing experience in a wide variety of scientific areas or technical areas.

Experience in journalism, marketing/branding and/or social media.

Must have a working knowledge of news writing and social media management

Has strong technical skills and is looking for hands-on experience

Familiarity with content management systems and digital publishing tools (preferred)

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition a plus

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Strong research and analytical skills
