Localization Audio Producer Jobs

Experience with Jira, Excel, Tracking/project management software

Localization asset preparation, coordination and management between Bossfight development teams and various groups within and outside of Netflix

Build and maintain ongoing production schedules and resolve dependencies and prioritize tasks to manage risk

Manage independent projects within the program

Bachelor's, or Master’s degree, in Localization, Language Studies, or International Studies or equivalent experience as applicable

Working knowledge of industry standard localization tools

Manage remote and in-person recordings.

2+ years of editorial experience, with a strong audio background.

Strong writing and editing skills.

Strong collaboration, communication, excellent teamwork, and team-building skills.

Take direction from the audio unit’s Senior Producers to develop and produce podcast episodes as assigned for various shows.

Work closely with producers and hosts to develop ideas for episodes.

Experience making challenging editorial decisions in a deadline-driven environment.

Strong communications skills, with a knack for writing audio scripts that sound natural and conversational.

Experience with writing and editing digital copy

Edit audio capably and quickly in a combination of Descript and Audition, focusing on consistent quality on short turnarounds.

Help our hosts script interview questions on tight deadlines, and edit their copy to make clear, concise interviews

Proficiency in Adobe Audition or similar audio editing software

Good self-organizational skills and knowledge of project management practices.

Skills and experience in automation technologies or programming languages.

Manage scripts, localized VO and source VO during all stages of production.

Work experience managing the recording of interactive localized VO or with related game audio

Demonstrated ability & experience in VO production.

Knowledge of dubbing business practices and key partners.

Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics (or related fields) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Ensure high quality across all localization assets including glossary, style guides, and localized content that meets or exceeds established requirements

2+ years' translation, editing, writing or relevant experience in a professional setting

1+ years of experience in game or software development/localization/QA

Experience in game or software Localization/QA

Knowledge of localization tools, processes, and software

Extensive knowledge on computer science; quick learner and self-motivated.

Strong English language skills (both oral and written).

Ability to work and manage multiple tasks.

Can work independently through a remote working model.

Experience in multi-national companies or dispersed production teams is a plus.

Processing files for localization, including file preparation and format conversion, etc.

8+ years of experience in localization required, as well as 4+ years of management experience.

Ability to work independently on projects and report findings to management.

College preferred or equivalent work experience, with emphasis on film, production, language translation or related area.

Expert level knowledge of Localization Processes.

Exceptional English language skills, additional language skills advantageous.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, the ability to handle pressure and be efficient when delivering to tight deadlines.
