Linguistic Test Specialist Jobs

Ability to use network analysis tools like Wireshark to capture and analyze network management traffic.

Collaborate efficiently with developers, designers, product managers, and support engineers to enforce quality objectives.

6 or more years of experience in a comparable or similar role.

Experience in testing any IIoT or Smart City solutions like water metering desired.

Experience with wireless networks, such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax.

Strong Linux OS background with advanced knowledge in Virtual Machine configuration.

Knowledge of test management tools

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

Manage operational and technical aspects of complex projects, including project assessment, coordination, and delivery

Track test progress; coordinate onsite and remote testers, including hands-on technical and project-related support.

Provide status reports regularly to Test Line Manager/Testing Manager

I18n/l10n testing or other (translation, copywriting, etc) experience

Shows excellent Time Management skills

Basic knowledge of smartphones (iPhone or Android) Other Skills

Candidates with Localization/QA/translation experience or with advanced computer skills are preferred KEY

Native language skills and cultural awareness of the native country.

Strong English skills, both written and verbal

Experience with MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

Implement pre-approved changes to workflows and knowledge repositories.

Excellent writing and communication skills

Linguistic skills including morphology and syntax (correct grammatical, spelling, typographical, or compositional errors)
