Enrolled and actively attending the following total LCC credit hours by semester

Fall and/or Spring Semester(s) = 6.0 credits minimum (taken over 16-week period)

Summer Semester = 3.0 credits minimum (taken over 8-week period)

Fall and/or Spring Semester(s) = 12.0 credits min. (taken over 16-week period)

Summer Semester = 3.0 credits min. (taken over 8-week period)

Two years of assistant manager and employment customer service experience is required.

Be able to share general department operational knowledge.

Communicate all pertinent program information (incidents or injuries, needs, or concerns) to immediate supervisor or operations manager

Greet and welcome all participants, parents, and/or community members.

Ensure participants/visitors are present for a specific permitted event.

May be required to open, close and secure the building.

Implement and comply with the environmental management system.

Take part in the required activities required by the BU and the MMW.

Respect the level of production.

General chemistry knowledge, crane, forklift and other equipment certificiaton

Assist operators with production of steel

Analyze chemistry samples from LMF, Caster, and Hot Mill

Standardization and maintenance of spectrometers and LECO units

Maintenance of Caster & LMF temperature system

Ability to work independently and follow directions
