3+ years of social work experience (internship not included)

Experience with screening for common mental health and/or substance abuse disorders

Administer evidence-based screening tools for depression, anxiety and substance use disorders and develop person-centered care plans to address those conditions

Attends scheduled staff meetings and in-service education program offerings with punctuality and consistency.

Assists management in the operation of a quality department by participating in department programs and complying with department policies and procedures.

Complies with departmental, regulatory and professional requirements for documentation recording, and data collection.

Obtains continuing education units necessary to maintain licensure.

Assesses patient and family to ascertain those emotional and social problems. Utilizes the department's psychosocial assessment tool as a guideline.

Experience working in community-based integrated care clinical settings.

Master’s degree in Social Work from an appropriately accredited institution.

Two years post LCSW clinical social work practice.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

You will provide brief psychological health assessment, crisis management, treatment planning, counseling, psychoeducation, and direct clinical services to USNA Midshipmen.

Basic Life Support OR CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers

3+ years' experience in medical social work; preference is given for behavioral health experience.

Experience working with adult chronic disease patients and the geriatric population.

Basic computer and EHR skills and understanding.

Medicare and Medicaid experience preferred.
