This role will be a blend of both underwriting and portfolio management for leveraged finance transactions (primarily unsponsored)

(VP): Ideally seeking direct transactional experience within leveraged finance, M&A, Private Equity

This role will include heavy execution, underwriting with light portfolio management & light business development

Reviews and analyzes historical audited financial information, interim management prepared financials and forecasts, and third-party research reports.

Attention to detail and modelling skills a must. Bachelor’s degree required.

VP or Senior Associate (Leveraged Finance) - Nashville, Tennessee

3+ years of relevant work experience (in leveraged finance, investment banking or related fields)

Knowledge of corporate finance valuation and financial accounting concepts

Provide support in execution of leveraged finance transactions for financial sponsors and corporate clients

Work with the senior bankers to manage the relationship and monitor performance of portfolio companies

Experience with three-statement financial modeling, including detailed operating builds and capital structure scenarios

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams

Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to client senior management, investors and senior members of the firm

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking, Credit Risk, Big Four experience or related fields is preferred

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Well organized and able to efficiently manage projects with minimal supervision

Performing financial modeling and financial statement analysis

Analyze various risk elements of credit risk, and present written executive summaries to the management of the Credit Department.

Portfolio Management: supports the review and challenge of the quarterly and annual monitoring for assigned portfolio.

Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate credit risk. Leverage Lending experience preferred.

5-9 years of work experience.

Ability to manage deal volume in a fast-paced environment and analyze the credit application in a short timeframe.

Knowledge of legal documentation associated with credit risk.

2 to 10 years of relevant work experience within credit review, portfolio management, and/or leveraged finance

Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar spaces are preferred

Self-Starter with strong organizational, written, & presentation skills

Assess and assign internal credit ratings to the portfolio

Senior Corporate Analyst – Global Leveraged Finance, RBC Global Asset Management US Inc., Stamford, CT:

US GAAP and IFRS financial accounting standards;

Bond and loan High Yield (HY) documentation;

Global Leveraged Financial products, including, bonds, loans, and credit default swaps;

Credit rating forward looking analysis; and

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, finance/economics, risk management or a related field required

Ability to take on demanding responsibilities and work independently, effectively manage deadlines and juggle multiple tasks at once

At least 1 year of relevant experience

Strong writing, analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to quickly and accurately find information upon a Banker / Manager’s request

Finance or accounting knowledge. A strong understanding and interest in the financial markets

Draft offering memorandums, management presentations, and other communications for clients and investors.

Prepare pitchbooks for senior originators and work on ad hoc projects as needed for management.

Manage multiple transactions and projects while communicating effectively with deal team members and staffers on status and prioritization.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of information, analyze risk and identify mitigating factors.

Liaise with sponsors, borrowers, agent banks, and internal loan operations to ensure successful deal closing.
