Low Latency Linux Engineer Jobs

Manage network expansion, upgrades and maintenance

Strong experience with low latency financial trading networks

Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and protocols

Network automation experience with Python scripting

Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot and optimise global network infrastructure

Design high performance colocation and data center networks

Conduct responsibilities such as quality control, work allocation, coaching/mentoring, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements

Experience and knowledge of REL is a plus

Strong ability to build relationships as a trusted partner, and experience coaching more junior project managers through difficult situations

Comfortable using project management planning tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Excel, Confluence)

Design and create complex processes and reporting streams, participate in the review and approval of requirement documents

Experience in managing projects, leading operational process change and improvement and delivering infrastructure technologies products and services

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Good knowledge of networking fundamentals

Experience profiling system performance, using kernel by-pass technology and/or FPGA a plus

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Developing the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) code base

Maintaining high-performance Low Latency Linux machines deployed globally
