Ensure personnel maintain contract required certifications and security clearance.

California State Water Distribution Operator II certification is required

Under direction, excavate and expose service/main leaks; isolate damage and assist in repairing or replacing assets.

Assist in repairs and maintenance activities of meters, meter boxes, service lines, mains and wells.

Assist in setting, replacing, and/or removing 1 ½” to 2” size meters.

Assist in locating facilities; assist in valve operation.

May take distribution system water samples as part of the repairs and maintenance to mains, services and fire hydrants.

Performs electrical and mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks under direction of Management when assigned.

Complies with all site safety requirements and procedures. Identifies safety hazards and takes corrective actions as necessary.

Performs other duties necessary to fulfill plant requirements.

Working conditions: The employee performs job duties in an industrial facility with a very loud noise level.

Performs all station shift operation and maintenance, including startup and shutdown of main plant components and auxiliaries.

Perform operations in accordance with established SOPs and job safety standards.

Use a computer in daily operations. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel at a minimum.

3 Years of experience in Golf Course or Grounds Maintenance or Landscaping is required.
