Landscape Supply Manager Jobs

3-5 years horticultural management experience; or,

2-3 years of experience in horticultural management with related college degree.

Regularly communicate with, monitor and manage performance of landscape maintenance contractors.

Monitor and manage irrigation systems at properties.

Meet with Property Managers and Grounds Maintenance Technicians to review and train them on landscaping and grounds care guidelines.

Experience and education in tree health care, tree maintenance and tree management a plus

Experience and education in water management and irrigation systems a plus

Two years experience in landscape management or similar industry background.

Ensures the overall landscape appearance and maintenance meets ICOP requirements. Immediately reports to Operations Managers any cleanliness, maintenance or vendor issues.

Works closely with the Landscape Managers on strategies to help achieve financial results.

Supports the Landscape Managers, the Reinvestment and Development teams on landscaping projects and properties for turnover from construction to Operations.

Communicate with management and staff effectively.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Landscaping

Ability to manager 3-4 crews

Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills

Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

Track and manage contemplated change notices and change orders.

Prepares properties for turnover from construction to property management, working with the Reinvestment team, Irvine Company Apartment Development, and Landscape Architects.

Five to seven years of landscape management.

Develops, manages and oversees a highly qualified contractor pool.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Strong computer skills: Google Suite, MS Office Suite, SAP, Coupa, PPM, etc.

ISA’s Certified Arborist certification is a plus.

Great organizational skills and ability to manage time.

Regular Quality Inspections. Work with Production managers and foreman to ensure follow up

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task.

Industry Certifications (Master Gardener, CLT, CLM, CIA, etc.)

Creating and maintaining positive customer relationships

Manage and schedule labor, equipment, and materials to accomplish assigned tasks

Monitor assigned sites for signs of insect infestations, diseases, or irrigation issues and report to Account Manager

Manage and maintain all required paperwork (i.e. service tickets, vehicle and equipment inspection logs, etc)

2-4 years of continuous Supervisory experience in the landscape field

Working knowledge of standard maintenance equipment

Working knowledge of G Suite, internet search, email

A minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape supply management, landscaping, or a related field.

4. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.

Outstanding leadership and team management abilities, with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Strong financial management and budgeting skills.

Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.

Manage inventory levels, including procurement, storage, and organization of landscape supplies, such as mulch, rocks, and sod.
