Junior Project Accountant Jobs in Michigan

Interface regularly with project manager and project delivery team.

Assist Project Manager with project setup and closeout, and monitor projects for contract compliance

Assist Finance Lead in identifying, tracking, and reporting on projects in financial distress

Support Finance Lead in monthly close activities

Perform ad-hoc assignments as and when required Support internal project manager in reviewing and monitoring project financial status

Have a working knowledge of MS Office, including strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Accounting software knowledge required. Timberline experience preferred.

Scan invoices received from vendors and prepare for Project Manager’s approval.

Associates degree in accounting or minimum three years of accounts payable experience. Bachelors preferred.

Must possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.

Must possess superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skill.
