Junior Project Accountant Jobs in Georgia

Degree in Finance or Business Administration required with minimum of 3 years experience

Manage consultant invoices and release as appropriate for payment

Prepare special project analyses and provide finance support as requested by PICs, PMs and others

Recommend and implement agreed process improvements to finance processes

Act as an integrated and collaborative member of the finance team

2-3 years of billing and receivables, experience in A/E industry a huge plus

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel) a must, Yardi / MRI experience an asset

Strong written and oral communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively and professionally in stressful situations

Minimum of 1 year of progressive property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry or related industry

Knowledge of Yardi accounting program

Review & post accounts receivable transactions, including daily lockbox payments, online payments and remote capture deposits.

Perform data entry duties as needed into CINC’s industry specific software and complete other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned.

2 days in-office & 3 days remote per week

Perform bank account reconciliation for a large number of bank accounts.

Process property resales in accounting software.

Post journal entries to record payroll activity.

Excellent communication and time-management skills

Assist management with profitability projections, manage Work In Process reporting and projections and investigate project variances

Communicate with project managers, vendors, and external parties to manage draw requests/requirements

Minimum three years of construction accounting experience

Knowledge of AIA & Vista Viewpoint or similar construction software preferred

Responsible for job cost accounting including budget control, change order tracking, committed cost control, and job cost transfers

Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting, Project Accounting, Job Cost, Reconciliations, Construction, Builders, and Month End

Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
