Junior Millwork Estimator Jobs

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, similar, or relevant years of experience

2 plus years of millwork estimating and sales experience

Solicits contractors for bids using bid software, phone calls, and email

Complete material and quantity take-offs

Request project drawings and specifications from A/E firms as needed

Assist with bid document control by making bid labels, filing bids, and archiving bid data

Prior experience in construction industry preferred

Review and understand contract specifications, documents & drawings to perform takeoff’s accurately

Performs plan measurements to develop and/or verify quantity estimates

Stay apprised of industry standard software including researching and reviewing new technologies to expedite the takeoff process

Communicate with Engineering Consultants and Designers to coordinate information digitally to complete takeoff’s

Develops presentation and submittal materials exhibits utilizing basic CAD and drafting

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, similar, or relevant years of experience

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Collaborate with senior estimators to gather project requirements and specifications.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Familiarity with construction documents and drawings (experience is a plus but not mandatory).

·Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Design

·Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project

·Must have demonstrated capabilities in Microsoft Office (PPT and Excel)

·2 years’ experience reading blueprints

- Relevant industry certifications and training are a plus.

- Previous experience in millwork engineering, including millwork release, CNC programming, or submittal engineering.

Job Title: Millwork Engineer - Architectural Millwork Firm

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience in cabinet casework manufacturing.

Strong communication and organization skills.

2-year Degree in Drafting or equal experience.

Knowledge of cabinet and countertop manufacturing industries.

Draw countertops to match up with casework shop drawings.

Ability to read and interpret Architectural plans.

Participate in scope review meetings with customers to demonstrate their knowledge of the project and expertise in the millwork industry.

Minimum of 5 years experience in millwork, carpentry, drywall, or similar industry.

Exceptional knowledge and expertise within the millwork industry in the shop and field.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

1+ Years of estimating required or degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering

Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

Experience estimating on large ground up projects
