Job Description

Job Title: Junior Estimator

Department: Sales and Estimating

Reports To: Vice President of Business Development

Location: Remote

Salary: ₱450,000 Annually


Who we are: We are a subcontractor specializing in countertops and cabinets for luxury multi-family homes in the Washington, DC area.We have been in business for over 22 years and have great relationships with the largest General Contractors in our market.Our portfolio will be shared during the interview process.


Job description: We are looking for a junior estimator based out of Manila, PH.Though the job is remote, there will be opportunities to meet with senior leadership in the PH or at our headquarters in Frederick, MD.You will work closely with many other professionals including contractors, accountants, suppliers, and operations personnel to provide the most accurate and comprehensive financial information for multi-family construction projects. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients.


These duties include:

·Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project

·Determining what factors of production will influence the cost and schedule of a project

·Preparing material estimates and cost estimates

·Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors

·Managing bids from vendors and contractors

·Using bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis

·Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders

·Compiling and recording actual costs


To be successful, you will need:

·Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Design

·Comfortable in a fast paced, high-pressure setting

·Must have demonstrated capabilities in Microsoft Office (PPT and Excel)

·Ability to quickly digest information

·Attention to detail is critical

·2 years’ experience reading blueprints

·2 years’ experience in estimating

·Some sales experience would be helpful

·Project management/construction experience would be helpful

·Native speaking and writing fluency in English

·Must be willing to work flexible hours to overlap with US business hours (1500-2400 PH time)

·Must have a reliable internet connection and laptop
