Junior Ehs Associate Jobs

Representing borrowers and lenders in commercial loan, lease, and/or structured finance transactions

Drafting loan agreements, lease agreements, indentures, note purchase agreements, and/or offering documents for the above types of transactions

Representing lenders in workout transactions

Completing due diligence review of material agreements, organizational documents, and/or lien searches

Preparing corporate housekeeping documents, financing statements, and other ancillary documents needed for closing

Candidates must be members in good standing or eligible to waive into the California Bar.

Experience with Fintech, Blockchain, Crypto, Green/Cleantech, Agro, Real Estate, Renewables, etc.

Collaboration is a key part of the job, as are giving presentations and sharing information amongst peers.

Continuously collect and interprets data, such as company financial statements, price developments, currency adjustments, and yield fluctuations.

Preferred additional experience in inspections/auditing, training, hazardous waste management.

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the company management of all levels and participate in Quality initiatives.

Knowledge of regulations related to air emissions, hazardous waste, and sewer discharges.

Knowledge of safe handling practices of chemicals and ability to handle potentially hazardous substances utilizing proper procedures.

Working knowledge of consensus standards such as ANSI Z-10, ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001, and/or OSHA VPP Best Practices

Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and coaching skills.

Admitted to practice in New York or Florida (or admission within the first year of employment)

Graduation from a toplaw school, preferably class of 2018 through 2022

Knowledge and experience with EHS Management systems and their deployment

Strong project management skills including financial responsibility, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, execution and start-up/commissioning, managing multiple concurrent projects/programs.

EHS management experience in a related industry, including consumer packaged goods, distribution/transportation, manufacturing or grocery industry

Demonstrate solid employee relations experience, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

Develop, implement, execute, and manage strategies to prevent workplace injuries, environmental incidents

Knowledge and practical, hands-on experience in developing and deploying safety programs under the requirements of OSHA and NFPA70.

Support the development, implementation, and execution of short and long-term plans for Tesla's Safety programs

Drive the implementation of Human & Organisational Performance principles within operations and incident investigations.

Judicial clerkship, internship or courthouse experience preferred

Strong legal research and legal writing abilities

Strong computer skills, including Westlaw, Word, Excel, and Bloomberg

Demonstrated self-starter with strong references
