Overview A Junior Accounting Associate is a professional who is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting operations of a business. They are responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable and payable, and providing support to the accounting team. Detailed Job Description The Junior Accounting Associate is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable and payable, and providing support to the accounting team. They must be able to accurately record and analyze financial data, and provide timely and accurate financial information to the accounting team. They must also be able to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards
• Knowledge of accounting software
• Knowledge of financial analysis techniques

• Experience in preparing financial statements
• Experience in accounts receivable and payable
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Experience in auditing and financial reporting
