How To Become an Journeyman Millwright:

To become a Journeyman Millwright, you must complete an apprenticeship program. Apprenticeships typically last four years and include both classroom and on-the-job training. During the apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of the trade, such as safety procedures, welding, and blueprint reading. You will also learn how to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. After completing the apprenticeship, you must pass a Journeyman Millwright exam to become certified.
