Position Details
We are seeking experienced Millwright Mechanics to work with one of the largest roofing manufacturers in the Sumas, WA area. In this position you will focus on maximizing plant performance and run time through troubleshooting and repairing all mechanical equipment.

Your Current Skills And Abilities

• Ability to fabricate simple parts for corrective maintenance.
• Millwright skills, welding and machining experience preferred.
• Apprentice or Journeyman Classification
• Ability to properly disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble complex mechanical devices such as gearboxes, pumps and motors.
• Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment.
• Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures and other safe practices.

What Your Responsibilities And Duties Will Look Like

• Identifying and correcting all unsafe conditions and completing safety assessments of all work prior to starting any job
• Throughout the production facility and completing necessary work orders accurately and on time
• Troubleshooting, monitoring, adjusting, maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Fabricating and welding tools or equipment when required
• Diagnosing equipment operating issues and making required repairs
