Investments Associate Jobs in Florida

Prepare presentations for management presentations, the firm’s Investment Committee, and portfolio company meetings

Work directly with portfolio company CEOs and management teams on various strategic initiatives

Communicate effectively with portfolio company management teams and investment professionals on a regular basis

Independently create LBO models and demonstrate extensive financial modeling skills and experience in Excel

Industry investments to date include: Consumer, Manufacturing and Industrials, Marketing/Media/Info Services, Software Services, Education/Training, Gov Defense

3-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking (M&A or Lev Fin experienced preferred) and/or private equity

Careful attention, prioritization skills, and stress management

Maintain the Investor Relations Management (“IRM”) system with all current investor contact information, documents, and communication logs 

Bachelor’s degree in business, financial management, or economics

Manage communication between investment committee and our investors  

1-3 years experience in a related field

Task-oriented, dependable, and effective interpersonal skills are required

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with 5 years in investment management/banking/trading business management or operations

Manage key strategic investment and finance related technology and data vendor relationships

Excellent communication and influencing skills with experience leading complex projects and managing deadlines

Partner with the team to create and drive Martello’s investment and finance teams’ business unit strategy, priorities and target operating model

Design and lead the operational buildout to enhance the infrastructure supporting Martello’s investment and finance functions

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; propensity to challenge thinking, problem tackle and improve processes

Work closely with the Asset Management Team and Investment Team

Calculate financial ratios and other covenant requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in finance or relevant business field

5+ years relevant experience in commercial banking or financial services with a focus on

Strong Excel and financial modeling skills

Proficient Word, and PowerPoint skills
