Inventory Specialist Millwright Mechanic Jobs

You will work with the Maintenance Manager and other Millwrights to assist with organizing preventative maintenance, inventory, and record-keeping system

You will help identify and prioritize lift maintenance requirements and carry out all lift maintenance procedures and improvements as required

Hourly wage and 50% employee benefit costs

You will ensure that all manufacturer’s guidelines and government regulations in regard to lift maintenance and repair are followed

You will handle the shipping and receiving of materials as required

You will be tasked with maintaining records of maintenance work performed, materials used, quality, and cost control

Qualified candidates will bring the following experience and skill sets:

Three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience

Capable of becoming functional in three (3) additional base skills (pipefitting, instrumentation, machinist, carpentry or electrical)

Knowledge of pumps, filters, grinders, gears, and basic welding

Experience with Predictive Technologies such as Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound equipment, and Precision Alignment preferred

Must pass and maintain all medical and fit-testing requirements for respiratory equipment

Knowledge and purpose of lubrication as well as identifying best types of lubrication for situation.

Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical test apparatus.

1+ years’ of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree

Intermediate ability to fabricate mechanical systems.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum 5+ years related work experience as an Industrial Millwright.

Performs general basic maintenance duties in connection with repair, modification, preventive maintenance or installation of company facilities and equipment.

Reads and interprets basic blueprints, wiring diagrams and repair manuals.

Operates equipment: electric hammer, grinder, drill press, sander, power saw, etc.

Performs various housekeeping and grounds keeping duties to maintain internal and external facilities and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and Company safety procedures

Completes daily work logs for time and costs tracking.

Knowledge of rotating equipment best practices, standards, rigging, welding, and maintenance requirements such as technology specific installation, troubleshooting and PM/PdM activities.

7- 10 years experience as a Millwright or Journeyman Millwright.

Experience with use of hand and power tools, feeler gauges, dial indicators, and bolting.

Performs the repair, installation, and maintenance of rotating equipment including, pumps, compressors, mixers, engines, motors, and related equipment.

Performs and provides oversight for rotating equipment component changes, such as seals, bearings, couplings, and other pump parts.

Executes job assignments in accordance with the daily schedule as prepared by the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.

Use computer in daily routine, including data entry into computerized management maintenance system.

Understand piping systems and their uses, including knowledge of and adherence to plant piping standards.

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work visa.

Read and comprehend drawings including, but not limited to plant layout, P&ID, equipment drawings.

Operate boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts.

Work in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting

1+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree

Assist in daily maintenance operations of the plant as scheduled in a proper, timely, and safe manner

Troubleshoot and repair plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation

Ability to operate, maintain, and install all shop equipment

Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment

Knowledge and purpose of lubrication as well as identifying best types of lubrication for situation.

Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical test apparatus.

1+ years’ of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree

Intermediate ability to fabricate mechanical systems.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
