International Flight Operations Specialist Jobs

Work with senior management and participate in executive meetings

FMC rate filing and contract management

Manage a team of people who handle the whole shipment process

Manage vendor development and relationships, recruit accordingly to develop and maintain relationships

Participate in problem resolution with sales, finance and operations

Minimum 10 years' experience in the industry, including experience with air and ocean freight forwarding.

Qualified as, or meets FAA Requirements to be, 141 Check Airman

Experience conducting 141 stage checks or End-of-Course checks

Conduct preflight/post flight debriefings and provide in-flight instruction to ensure students have a thorough understanding and comprehension of the training materials

Maintain the quality (pass rate) of flight training at or above 80%

Regularly schedule each assigned student to ensure progress through the course

Maintain the flight training standards as outlined by both FAA and L3 Airline Academy

Evaluates aerostat lift and purity trends. Reports any unusual trends to management and recommends remedial action.

May serve as the Site Manager in his/her absence.

Maintains current status of local weather conditions and weather trends as they influence mission support.

Communicates with the TARS Control Center, Meteorological Forecast Facilities, and other Government agencies as appropriate.

Makes significant event and data entries in the mission flight log.

Prepares and maintains the flight system weight logs and the weight and balance records for the operational aerostat.

Participates in the Safety Management System

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Knowledge in research and development of operating policies and procedures

Ensuring aircraft, crew and passengers have all necessary equipment, documents, visas and any other entry requirements by concerned states/regions

Ensures that all airports and routes are operationally suitable and meet company requirements

Advises Senior International Planner, ops/flight control manager, charter department, flight crew of international flight operations restrictions

Payment: Monthly, fixed-rate. Some weeks more, some weeks less – depends what’s going on.
