Manages the day to day business and financial processes, trends past performance and forecasts future financials

Accountable for acquisition of documents needed to monitor adherence to grant or program requirements.

Manages and coordinates the daily activities of the department/program through administrative staff.

Manage/monitor filing daily, accurately and consistently.

Manage Forms tracking/disposition following signature: Establish/maintain a system to track forms for patients; date form upon arrival.

Process Managed Care Referrals. Check for correct information prior to being sent out; review incoming and distribute to the appropriate location.

File loose documentation with current information on top. Identify reports not belonging to the practice and disposition.

Shred information with patient names as needed.

Pull patient charts and attach forms for MD review and completion.

For fellowship need at least 1 year of RN experience. For residency no RN experience needed.

Must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and possess good oral and written communication skills.

As applicable, will be required to demonstrate acceptable knowledge of nursing standards of care for specialty care area.

Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelor's in Nursing Degree (BSN) preferred. Must have graduated by September 2023.

Must have current, valid RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing; or valid Compact RN license.

Must have current healthcare provider CPR course completion card from one of the following:

Integrates process and management of BUMG employed department of medicine faculty.

Budgeting and financial management of all funding sources (state, grants, designated, gifts/Foundation all academic funding types).

Five (5) or more years experience in education, academic medical center or health care environment.

Manage and oversee department's space needs within the university, UAHS, and college guidelines.

Manage time approval process for the Department/Unit faculty and staff to ensure compliance with university and FLSA policies.

Manage post award operations and financial activity for faculty research success.

Previous graduate medical education teaching experience

Work Department incoming referral work queue daily. Assist patients with appointments in other specialist offices as requested/referred by our physicians.

Reviews patient charts to ensure imaging is available and all pertinent information to maximize appointment.
