Internal Medicine Hospitalist Jobs in Arizona

Integrates process and management of BUMG employed department of medicine faculty.

Budgeting and financial management of all funding sources (state, grants, designated, gifts/Foundation all academic funding types).

Five (5) or more years experience in education, academic medical center or health care environment.

Manage and oversee department's space needs within the university, UAHS, and college guidelines.

Manage time approval process for the Department/Unit faculty and staff to ensure compliance with university and FLSA policies.

Manage post award operations and financial activity for faculty research success.

Contribute to laboratory management including:

Coordinate with building/facilities management, gas delivery, and other key research infrastructure

Perform independent research experiments under the direction of the principal investigator

Perform echocardiography, RVSP measurement on the research mice and rats

Maintain mouse and rat clonies.

Perform tissue/cell culture, molecular biology related experiments

PRIMARY DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides responsible, safe, efficient, and compassionate physician practice activities and progressive acquisition of clinical skills.

Effectively functions as a member of various teams during all patient care and educational activities assigned.

Demonstrates knowledge of compounding techniques and solubility and incompatibilities of extemporaneous compounding and the math involved.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journal, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
