Institutional Client Management Consultant Jobs in New York

Complex RFP project management experience, within Alternatives and/or Fixed Income preferred

Manage the coordination and completion of Requests for Proposals ("RFPs") and Due Diligence Questionnaires ("DDQs")

Undergraduate degree (economics, finance or business preferred)

Base 90-110k + bonus (experience pending)

Maintain a database of standard RFP responses and hone/create new language as appropriate

Commit to improving the efficiency of the RFP process and quality of RFP submissions

3+ years’ experience, preferably within Investment Banking, Investor relations or an Alternative Credit Management

Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills

Contact management, including CRM/Salesforce maintenance

Helping to manage internal IOI and client tracking initiatives

Excellent presentation, business writing and oral communication skills

Assisting with new business pipeline through client & consultants updates and other internal reporting

Support strategically significant organizational initiatives, including cross-selling of key Mastercard products, capabilities and solutions to deepen relationships

Negotiate, execute and manage the customer contract agreement process, ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing

Ability to manage and grow internal and external cross functional relationships and partnerships with executives at all levels

Sound business judgment with established strategic and conceptual thinking and planning skills

Develop detailed business cases, including financial analysis/modeling, in support of merchant initiatives

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

Strong understanding of the Asset Management industry, including active and passive strategies

Develop deep relationships across the institutional client base with particular emphasis on investment decision makers, portfolio managers, traders, etc

Existing relationships in the institutional channel, preferably asset owners or asset managers, with capacity to prospect new external relationships

Experience developing and executing on a data driven sales business plan within a defined channel or region

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
