Detailed Job Description Infection Prevention Specialists are responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating infection control policies and procedures in healthcare settings. They work to identify potential sources of infection, develop and implement infection control measures, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of infection control measures. They also provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection control practices, and work with other healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with infection control standards. • Knowledge of infection control principles, practices, and procedures

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, or a related field

• Certification in infection control (e.g. CIC, CPHQ)

• At least two years of experience in infection control
