7+ years of Project Management Experience in Commercial Construction Projects

Manage all aspects of the construction project from preconstruction to finish

Recent experience in HVAC or Plumbing

Experience with project budgets of 16M - 100M

Experience with any of the following industries:

Create Project Schedules and maintain updates to schedules

This role will assist the Project Management team with Owner demonstration and training on MEP systems.

This role will actively manage MEP activities on assigned projects in addition to leading and mentoring MEP coordinators.

This role will collaborate with our QAQC Manager to refine and develop new QAQC processes for MEP work.

This role will lead our MEP group, including other MEP coordinators as well as actively manage MEP efforts on assigned projects.

Qualified candidates will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, yet precise environment.

A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience and MEP system expertise is required.

Scope Management: Define and manage the scope of MEP work, ensuring alignment with project goals, specifications, and client requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and oversee schedules.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

1+years of experience in the HVAC industry

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Tracks and controls project schedule and costs to make sure projects are completed on-time and within budget

Negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contracts

Complete site evaluations at the end of each project to ensure project is completed to standard

Create proposals to install new or replacement; upgrade HVAC systems

Combination of degree or minimum 3 years’ experience in HVAC and/or BAS Controls and Project Management

Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management Degree is a plus

Experience in leading teams comprised of different technical skill levels

Utilizes properly qualified subcontractors, oversees subcontractor RFQ process, awards subcontracts and manages subcontractor execution

Must have familiarity executing as a prime contractor and experience working with building owners is a plus
