Applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to intellectual/developmental disabilities; and

Interpret and implement state and federal rules and regulations pertaining to intellectual/developmental disabilities;

Exercise sound judgment in the performance of assigned responsibilities;

Experience working with positive behavior supports.

Reviews cases in the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) and researches all associated discrepancies

Education & Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements

Completes and mail communication to Client, Content Management and Accounts Receivable

Provide in person same day service to clients newly applying for benefits and reauthorizing their existing benefits as needed

Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate

Experience: Three (3) years of experience determining eligibility for a variety of public assistance programs
