Hud Administrator Jobs

Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office Suite to include Teams, Word, and Excel.  Property Management Software experience preferred.

2+ years of residential leasing and/or management experience is required with experience in HUD/Section 8 and LIHTC regulations

Excellent management and communication skills with a solid professional image.

Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellence in time management. 

Knowledge of on-site maintenance requirements including working with vendors and contractors.

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience Requirements:

Demonstrate strong, independent project management skills.

Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and management.

Possess knowledge and understanding of higher education, financial aid, scholarships and grants.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Sociology, Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field required.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge and 1 to 2 years of experience in multi-family property management and/or sales experience

Ability to complete all application/recertification processes required through program requirements applicable to the property

Proven employment history of property management, sales, marketing and customer service background sufficient to manage the day to day operations, preferred

$18 - $20 / hour based on experience

Knowledge and ability to process program applications from waitlist to move in

Knowledge of HUD Subsidy Programs

Set up files initial move in and annual recertification to follow HUD agency requirements.

Set up files initial move in and annual recertification to follow Mitchell lama agency requirements.

Property Management: 1 year (Preferred)

Mitchell lama 236 initial packages for move in and annual recertification.

Coordinated with property manager legal cases.

Check EIV reports to update tenant files on monthly and quarterly as per regulation.
