Host And Food Runner Jobs

Performs all designated duties of posted job flows in direct correlation of time sequence of job flows.

Ensures that the quality of all food items is satisfactory according to Department/State Health Code Standards.

Performs courteous, friendly service to all customers of the cafeteria with emphasis on a "Teamwork" approach to service.

Maintains an overall "Focus on Service", "Guest Satisfaction at Any Cost" attitude.

Maintains Cafeteria sanitation in accordance with department standards, job flows, and State Health Codes.

Assists in planning and implementing all cafeteria daily and promotional specials per department standards.

Assist management in maintaining quality standards by reporting any problems or concerns in your area

Strong written and verbal communication skills

6 months full service restaurant experience required

Maintain extensive knowledge of all animals in exhibit to answer guest questions

At least 18 years of age

Comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens in any dining facility

Any other tasks assigned by the manager on duty.

Must have basic computer skills for use of online scheduling system

Inform the Coordinator Host/Hostess of available tables

Inform the kitchen of open menus and large parties being seated

Practice teamwork by helping co workers

Memorize table numbers, pivot points, and station assignments

Maintains knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.
