A skilled Account Specialist will respond to owners and field staff regarding rates, contracts and other account queries.

Thoroughly document and/or code the claim file and complete all claim closure and related activities in the assigned claims management system.

Completion of the Insurance Institute of America's: General Insurance Program, Associate in Claims, Associate in Management or equivalent

Complete ACG Claim Representative Training Program or demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experience.

Manage time, organize and plan workload and responsibilities.

Ensure all possible policyholder benefits are identified.

May assist claim manager with file reviews and training.

Work experience in an educational, training institute, or procurement office, highly desired

Three years of experience in a related field

Strong organizational skills and the ability to meets deadlines

Effective oral and written communication skills

Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the office and staff.

Work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.

Has knowledge and skills to support the PreK-12 general curriculum.

One year of experience working with students with disabilities preferred.

Participates in implementation and monitoring of Performance Improvement regulatory standards

Coordinates and facilitates Physician Peer Review Activities

Complies, monitors and analyzes quality, core measures and Physician Peer review data

Provides staff development and training to improve processes, patient outcomes and performance.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or related health care field preferred

Master’s Degree in a related health care field an asset, but not required

Current Arizona License as a Registered Nurse
