Hockey Coach Jobs in Indiana

Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Education, Fitness or related program is preferred

Must have strong team building/management skills

Demonstrated experience in program development, management, and leadership

One year of ice hockey coaching experience required at the professional, college or high school level

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Attend all management meetings and seminars conducted by Sharks Ice & SSE.

Three years of previous experience as a Director or Program Manager.

Must have a college degree in management or equivalent.

Manages essential club volunteer roles such as, but not limited to, the Club Registrar.

Knows emergency procedures for facility and guests to ensure a safe experience for all.

Outstanding interactive skills that will support the organization’s efforts to develop an acclaimed and productive community hockey facility and instructional/developmental program.

Thorough knowledge of NAIA and ACHA rules, higher education and intercollegiate athletics.

Previous coaching experience and/or playing experience at the collegiate level.

Must possess excellent communication and organization skills.

Must possess excellent computer and social media skills.

Must be able to successfully complete a background check and departmental recruiting test.
