Helper Apprentice Pipe Welder Jobs in Colorado

Experience with sheet metal, mild steel, galvanized steel, or aluminum

Experience in an industrial construction environment

$ 20.00 to $ 22.00 / hour

Various shifts available ( Sunday through Saturday from 06:00pm to 06:30am )

Supports welders by maintaining their tools and equipment, and by ensuring a clean and organized work environment

Assist welders to set up rigs and move them between work areas

Demonstrate knowledge and skills in safe rigging practices

Recognize various materials used in piping systems and demonstrate a working knowledge of appropriate material handling techniques

Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one

Identify, recognize and demonstrate safe usage of power tools and hand tools appropriate for the job

Select and safely use appropriate equipment which may include (but not limited to) manlifts, forklifts, and company trucks

Identify, explain and perform crane hand signals
