Welder Helper Details
  • Assist welders to set up rigs and move them between work areas
  • Make sure required materials and tools available at work area such as rods and grinding discs
  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • Various shifts available ( Sunday through Saturday from 06:00pm to 06:30am )
  • Operate welding machines, grinders, hammers, beveling machines, torches and magnetic drills
  • Supports welders by maintaining their tools and equipment, and by ensuring a clean and organized work environment
  • Weekend work required
  • $ 20.00 to $ 22.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
Welder Helper Qualifications
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
  • A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed. You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire. We will consider your age at the time of the offense, when the offense occurred, the seriousness and the nature of the offense, as well as any rehabilitation to determine your employability.
  • Experience in an industrial construction environment
  • Able to read tape measure
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Experience with sheet metal, mild steel, galvanized steel, or aluminum
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
