Number of Months Employed Per Year:

Experience in engineering, maintenance, and facility management within the hospitality or tourism industry, preferably in ski resorts or similar environments.

Must be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change management.

Minimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job

Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.

Proficient in capital project management, budgeting, and cost control.

Excellent communication, people management, and presentation skills.

Demonstrable experience in the selection, management & direction of resources.

Strong collaboration and engagement with Operations and the Global management team

Leads Engineering management meetings and represents engineering at global management meetings

Provide overall management, guidance and direction to an engineering functional group

Oversight, forecasting and management of overall engineering & design resourcing

Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to set own priorities in a timely manner.

Provides leadership for the assigned teams to include staffing strategy, recruitment, performance management, professional development and retention of team members

Participate in company risk management processes, and develop and implement business continuity planning for plant, laboratory, and office

Basic computer skills required, such as knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Manage planning and execution of capital investments in facility infrastructure and equipment

Proven experience in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies

Direct and manage all Engineers: provide leadership, supervision and management

Direct and manage Facilities Management staff: building maintenance & custodial

all systems/building management, including but not limited to:

Taking possession of the new facility from Construction Manager and Project Team

Collaborate with external partners, such as Food & Beverage, to develop and manage maintenance programs

Supervise and manage engineers to include hiring, training and professional development.
