6+ years as a line cook; 3+ years of staff management experience or equivalent;

Comprehensive knowledge of world class hospitality and service management.

Ensure ongoing management, training and development of bake shop employees

Oversee the bakeshop team including but not limited to, training, performance management, and development.

Work collaboratively with other managers and staff to create memorable dining experiences for members and guests.

1 year minimum of a similar lead position or management position

Valid California food handler’s certification

3 years of experience working with naturally leavened breads

Mixing/shaping/baking a variety or breads such as baguettes, country sourdough, and rye bread.

Overseeing daily production to ensure the team is on task

Must be available early mornings and weekends

Management of a team of 5/8

Management of all ordering and acceptance of daily deliveries and ability to keep things within set cost margins with suppliers

Handles daily scheduling and hours and management of payroll

Management of interviewing, hiring, training and reviewing of BOH staff

Management of organization of kitchen, including organization and cleanliness of dried storage, walk-ins, and dairy fridge

A genuine passion and knowledge for food and pastries

Global knowledge of Bread with the knowledge and experience to execute in an HMR environment

Knowledge and experience of high volume bread production and merchandising

Provide feedback regarding Bakery team performance to General Manager on a regular basis

A minimum of 8 years of upscale Bakery experience

Proven experience in managing and maintaining food and labor aspects of P&L and budgeting functions for multiple units

Possess strong leadership skills with an ability to build a team to reach desired goals
