You will be qualified for this role if you met these requirements:

Helping with additions to juice or wine

Assorted cellar work, barrel work, wine and juice movements, bottling.

Operate pumps and harvest equipment

Hire and manage seasonal sampler(s) and manage maturity sampling schedule.

Familiarizing themselves with the safety standards and requirements applicable to their role

5-10 years of experience in wine, agricultural, food and beverage or related industry

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Power BI experience a plus

Flawless execution of harvest, including excellent communication with all stakeholders, time-sensitive problem solving and a focus on safety

Following strict biosecurity protocols, maintaining sanitation of tools and person

Scouting for and reporting any pests or pathogens(powdery mildew, botrytis)

Any other task assigned by the Processing Manager

Workers will be helping with Bean Harvesting operations in Colgate ,ND .

Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops

Harvesting fruits and Vegetables by hand

Meet quality and production standards while performing the task of picking/harvesting fresh fruit

Move/set ladder positions on uneven surfaces

Place fruit bins in Orchards with assistance

Follow company policies and procedures including performing daily exercises and adherence to safe work practices

Scheduling appointments for PAD management as needed.

Coordinating with PAD managers to ensure that outgoing filings, subpoenas, and correspondence are timely and error-free.

Staffing the PAD and OAG reception and tip lines as needed.

Drafting and preparing correspondence as needed.

Maintaining and updating PAD data, statistics, organizational information, and shared files to support PAD’s enforcement work;

Tracking PAD litigation, including case assignments and filing deadlines.

Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the State of Utah

Experience in a production environment, preferably in a regulated industry producing for human consumption

Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or greenhouse practices

Maintain accurate records in the electronic tracking system

Trim dried product using a trimming machine and fine trim by hand, ensuring an aesthetically appealing, high quality product

Execute packaging and labeling tasks, including documentation and inventory control procedures, in accordance with state regulations

Horticulture degree or experience in horticulture preferred

Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day

Ability to perform repetitive movements with your hands

Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds

Proven work ethic and reliable transportation

Ability to arrive on time (Shifts usually start at 5 am)

Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers

Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials and manage cultivation waste

Skills at using computers, web browsers and ERP systems.

Effective communication skills and attention to detail.

Previous experience in a hands-on environment with high attention to detail preferred

Basic math and computer skills

Cleaning, packaging, and treating seed

Collecting data at test locations

Duties Will Include But Are Not Limited To

Performing routine cellar duties, including but not limited to; grape receival, processing, pressing, draining, barrel downs, and topping

Performing tank and barrel additions and inoculations when necessary

Doing pump overs and punch downs

Cleaning and sanitizing winery equipment

Wine movements and barrel work such as racking, transfers, stacking, topping, washing and maintenance

Following all safety protocols, standards, and procedures

Daily data entry and recording of all plant material weights into corresponding harvest cycle spreadsheets.

Any other task assigned by the Harvest Manager or Director of Cultivation.

Training employees to perform all wet plant processing tasks according to the provided SOPs.
