The ideal candidate has experience managing a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is familiar with all cannabis harvest related tasks on a large scale. Knowledge of WPFF preparation and lean manufacturing principles desired. The Wet Harvest Supervisor will report to the Harvest Manager or Director of Cultivation for all tasks.
The Wet Harvest Supervisor will need to be agile in delegation, as there are time constraints from when a plant is harvested to completion of processing for manufacturing. This position requires good leadership and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and sense of urgency in a rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities Include
  • Coordinate with the Lab/Kitchen department to forecast time and volume of product ready for extraction.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics ERP for inventory tracking in conjunction with METRC
  • Delegation of all plant processing related tasks (harvest, de-leafing, wet flower extract prep, etc.) to be completed on time outlined in the annual cultivation schedule.
  • Ensuring METRC compliance; using the provided excel sheets to track corresponding METRC plant tags during and after harvest, generating METRC package tags post-processing.
  • Management of both full-time and temporary employees: scheduling workflow, track working hours, inputting timesheets, ensuring meal/rest break compliance, and coordinating staffing needs with the Director of Cultivation and third-party staffing companies if needed.
  • Any other task assigned by the Harvest Manager or Director of Cultivation.
  • Daily data entry and recording of all plant material weights into corresponding harvest cycle spreadsheets.
  • Training employees to perform all wet plant processing tasks according to the provided SOPs.
  • Oversight of all plant processing related tasks, making sure employees are following SOPs, and issuing corrective action when employees do not follow SOPs.
