They must also be able to provide technical support to customers and colleagues. Detailed Job Description An IT Hardware Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware and related equipment. This includes installing and configuring new hardware, troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware issues, and providing technical support to customers and colleagues. They must be knowledgeable in a variety of hardware and software systems, including operating systems, networking, and security.
